It doesn’t look like much, but what Eileen Thomas is holding in her hands is the health department’s permission for River City Food Bank to start operating at the new location at 28th and R Streets. We painted the bathroom with the wrong kind of paint, and the hot water temperature is 5 degrees too cool, but we can address those issues and open for business Monday morning.

Eileen rescheduled the move four times to address delays and other hiccups, like missing fire extinguishers that the Fire Department required in its final sign off. Check out the photos below of the move-in:
